Why is my bill higher?
Overview
As part of our move to a new billing platform, Cuckoo customers are now moving to a new monthly billing schedule.

To bring your account onto this new schedule, your next bill may be higher than normal. This is because it includes a one-off pro-rata charge for the additional days between your previous billing date and your new billing date, as well as your usual monthly charge paid in advance.

What is pro-rata billing?
Pro-rata billing means you are only charged for the exact number of extra days needed to move your account onto the new billing schedule. You are not being charged twice for the same period, and your monthly package price has not increased.

Will my bill stay higher?
No. This is a one-off adjustment while your account moves onto the new billing cycle.

From your next bill onwards, your monthly charge will return to its normal amount and your Direct Debit will continue to be collected on the last working day of each month.

Is my monthly price increasing?
No. Your monthly package price has not changed. Any increase on this month’s bill is due to the one-off pro-rata adjustment required to align your account with the new billing schedule.
