A guide to setting up your digital voice product
Your phone won’t work unless you plug it into your router
All our phone packages are now Digital Voice, which uses your broadband to make and receive calls. This is because the traditional landline network is being switched off in the UK.
This means you need to connect your home phone to your router, and not your master phone socket like you used to do.
To do this, you’ll need to use an ethernet cable. One end plugs into your home phone, the other connects to the port labelled ‘Phone’ on the back of your router. If it doesn’t fit, use the Digital Voice adapter included with your router.
